Winter Warmer Walk Sunday 5 October Circular Walk as part of the South Devon AONB walking festival. A walk from Broadsands Beach through Elberry Cove, Marridge Woods the Grove returning through Churston Village. Walk approximately 3 miles, some steep slopes and rough terrain. Meet: Broadsands Car Park Time: 10am to 12.30pm Charge: £3.50 adults, children free

Apple Day Food Festival Sunday 19 October A great family day out – visit our Westcountry produce & crafts marquees, watch as we press apples on the Victorian press, take part in children’s activities and enjoy entertainment and music throughout the day. Light Up the Night! Saturday 25 October A unique evening of fiery entertainment, including flame juggling, music, food and drink. Watch as the spectacular towering willow figure created by Dorset sculptor Stephen Jennings is set alight on the bonfire with burning arrows! Hallowe’en Lanterns Workshop Wednesday 29 – Friday 31 October Create magical glass lanterns in our Halloween workshop and then join in a lantern-lit procession to the orchard as night falls. Hallowe’en Terror Trail Wednesday 29 – Friday 31 October As the barriers to the supernatural world are at their weakest and the ghosts return freely to roam the earth…walk amongst the spirit world on our trail of terror and then listen to spine-tingling tales over firelight. Are you brave enough to walk the trail? Popular event – advance bookings taken through Occombe Farm Shop from 1 October. Meet: Occombe Farm Time: Entry to trail from 6pm, last entry 8.30pm.
